# How do I Add, Update, or Remove a License?

## Ensure that your testing Labs use the correct license on your orders by adding and maintaining all your business licenses in your Confident LIMS account.

### **Add a License**

To add a new license:

1. Go to **Settings -\>** **Organization** using the menu bar on the left and navigate to the **Licenses** tab.
2. Click the **Add New License** button and fill out the license number, type, and designation. Give your license a nickname, click **Add License**.

Labs will now be able to use this license for testing orders.

### **Edit a License**

To edit a license:

1. Go to **Settings -\> Organization** using the menu bar on the left and navigate to the **Licenses** tab
2. Select the **Edit** button next to the license you would like to edit and make the necessary updates

### **Remove a License**

To remove an existing license:

1. Go to **Settings -\> Organization** using the menu bar on the left and navigate to the **Licenses** tab. Click on the **Remove** button on the right-hand side of the license you want to remove. Click **Remove** in the dialog to confirm removing the license.
