# How Do I Invite and Manage Teammates?

## This article covers how to invite a person to join your team on Confident LIMS, and how to manage or remove existing users on your team.

### **Invite a Teammate**

1. Go to **Settings** and **Laboratory**, then click the **Team** tab
2. Click on **Add New User** towards the top right of the list of current team members

3. A pop-up will appear to confirm the new team member's email address and role

4. Once you click **Invite** **User**, an email will be sent to the specified email to join your Organization
5. Once the new user accepts the invite, he or she will have access to your Confident LIMS account

### **Remove a Teammate**

1. Go to **Settings** and **Laboratory**, then click the **Team** tab
2. Find the name of the team member you'd like to remove and click **Remove** towards the right of the grid under the **Action** column

### **Update a Teammate's User Permissions**

1. Go to **Settings** and **Laboratory**, then click the **Team** tab
2. Find the name of the team member you'd like to update and select the appropriate role in the dropdown under the **Role** column
3. There are 3 types of roles a user can have on Confident LIMS
   
     1. **Admins:** have full access to the entire organization, and can add other admins, users and viewers. Additionally, admins are the only users who can Complete an order.
     2. **Users:** can add clients and can create and edit orders. However, they can't Complete an order. Additionally, users can't access organization settings. This means users can't edit your lab's menu or delivery options.
     3. **Viewers:** can see all details about orders, reports, and clients, but can not edit anything or view settings.

At this time, only a member of the Confident LIMS team can change the Owner of your account. To request a change or if you need additional help, reach out to [support@confidentlims.com](mailto:support@confidentlims.com)
