How do I Edit Sample Information in Bulk?

Labs can update multiple samples at once from the Samples table by uploading a CSV instead of editing one by one. Any field in your intake form, such as Batch IDs, Lab Sampler, etc.., can be updated this way.

To Bulk Update Sample Information

  1. Navigate to Samples -> List
  2. In the top right, select the Update Samples button
  3. Download the CSV template
  4. Fill out the specific Sample IDs and information you would like to update
    Note: The CSV template will match the fields configured in your Sample Intake page

  5. Once the CSV template is complete with the information that you would like to update, drag and drop the file to upload it
  6. Review the sample information to be updated in the Preview Import page, and select the Update Sample(s) button to save the updates
