How do I Place a Lab Order?

Test your products with a Confident LIMS lab by placing an Order using the Confident LIMS Client portal.

Placing a Lab Order in Confident LIMS

Both Labs AND Clients can place orders in Confident LIMS!

  1. Once logged into Confident, select New Order either in the left hand panel or on the Home screen
  2. Find the lab you would like to test with in the My Labs list, or view All Available Labs to see other labs in the area. The My Labs list will show labs that you have previously tested with.
  3. Once finding the lab you would like to place an Order with, select Place Order in the Actions column
  4. Select the applicable Industry you are placing the order under

  5. Select Add New Sample To Order to begin adding samples to the order
  6. If applicable, select or add the License that should be associated with the order being placed
  7. Fill out all of the relevant sample information, and select which Test Packages you would like for the sample

    Pro Tip: Once completing information for a sample, you can select Add & Clone Sample in the top right to clone the current sample information, or you can Add & Create Another sample to quickly move on to adding more samples to the order
  8. Once you have added samples to the order, select Continue
  9. Select whether you would like someone to pick up the sample, or if you will be dropping off the sample to the lab. Pickup addresses can be updated in your account settings by going to Settings -> Organization -> Addresses
  10. Once reviewing all order information, select Submit Order to place the order with the lab! If you email settings are toggled on, you will receive an email that the order was successfully placed.
  11. You can view all order statuses (Placed, In Progress, Completed) by navigating to the Orders table in the left hand panel
