Update Your Notification Settings

User notification settings direct how you receive email and/or text communication related to your lab testing Orders.

When you sign up, all email notifications are automatically turned on to make sure you don't miss any important communication about orders or your account. Conversely, SMS notifications are disabled by default.

Update SMS notification settings

To start or stop receiving text alerts when an Order is completed and your results are ready:

Step 1: Go to Settings > User

On the Profile tab, scroll down to the Phone section, or click here for a shortcut.

Step 2: Enable SMS notifications

Toggle Enable SMS notifications for orders and click the Update Phone Number button. If you haven't already added your phone number, enter your phone number first and then enable text notifications.

If you are part of multiple organizations on Confident LIMS, you have to change your current organization and repeat these steps for each organization.

We recommend always having both email and SMS notifications enabled for Order completion. By doing so, it'll help ensure you never miss your results.

To start or stop receiving email alerts when an Order is placed, verified, completed, and more:

Step 1: Go to Settings > User

On the Profile tab, scroll down to the Email section, or click here for a shortcut.

Step 2: Enable/Disable email notifications

Enable or disable the Enable email notifications from labs for this organization toggle and click the Update Email button.

If you are part of multiple organizations on Confident LIMS, you have to change your current organization and repeat these steps for each organization.
