Managing laboratory workflow by setting default sample due dates
Premium Lab subscribers will now be able to assign Due Dates to samples! In Laboratory Settings (General Tab), admin users will have the capability to setup a default Due Date for your samples:
By using the “Include Weekends” checkbox, the lab can select whether to calculate by business days or not. Please note that Due Dates are calculated based off Date Verified (when the order is moved from Placed to In Progress).
Labs will also have the ability to override this date for individual or multiple samples from the Sample Table view. From the Samples List view, you can now sort by Due Dates to improve your lab’s workflow prioritization.
