Manage and maintain your laboratory workflow by setting default sample due dates
Premium Lab subscribers are able to assign Due Dates to samples! This feature is meant to work alongside the Rush Add-ons feature.
In Laboratory Settings (General Tab), admin users will have the capability to setup a default Due Date for your samples:
By using the “Include Weekends” checkbox, the lab can select whether to calculate by business days or not. Please note that Due Dates are calculated based off Date Verified (when the order is moved from Placed to In Progress).
Due Dates for specific Testing Packages can be set when creating or editing a test package. Set the desired turnaround time for a package, and this turnaround time will override the default due date when the package is selected.
Labs also have the ability to manually override the due date for individual or multiple samples from the Sample Table view. From the Samples List view, you can sort by Due Dates to improve your lab’s workflow prioritization.
